Don José Ignacio Pavón y Muñoz, natural de la Ciudad de Guatemala, vecino y del comercio de la Nueva Veracruz, hijo del difunto don Cayetano Pavón y de doña María Teresa Muñoz, otorga su testamento; declara contrajo matrimonio con doña María Antonia Jiménez, con quien procreó 7 hijos. Señala que sus bienes le constan a su albacea, a quien le encomienda sus deudas y adeudos que figuran en un libro. Nombra albacea a la citada su esposa, y por falta de ella, a su hermano don Cristóbal Jiménez, para que entre en sus bienes los venda y remate. Designa a su esposa como curadora ad bona de sus menores hijos; del remanente de sus bienes que quedaren líquido, instituye como únicos herederos a los mencionados hijos.
