Don José de Austria y Achutegui, natural de la ciudad de Logroño en los Reinos de Castilla y vecino de la Ciudad de la Nueva Veracruz, residente en esta Villa, hijo legítimo de don Juan de Austria y de doña María Josefa de Achutegui, otorga poder para testar en primer lugar a su hermano don José Donato de Austria, Tesorero del Real Tribunal del Consulado de Veracruz, en segundo a don Tomás Murphy, primer Cónsul de dicho Real Tribunal, y en tercero a don Bernardo Rafael de Goitia, Capitán de Ejército, Secretario de Gobierno de la Intendencia de Veracruz y actual Comisionado para el Cantón de esta Villa de Comisario de Guerra. Declara ser soltero. Nombra como albaceas a sus referidos apoderados y como herederos universales a sus padres.
