Doña María Gertrudis Fentanes, viuda de don Ignacio Cardel, vecina de este pueblo de Jalapa, otorga poder general a don Andrés Pérez Gómez, vecino de Veracruz, para que en su representación demande y cobre judicialmente las cantidades de pesos, oro, plata, y demás bienes y efectos que le adeuden a través de instrumentos públicos o simples, de lo que perciba que entregue recibos y los que le sean pedidos; y si por dichas cobranzas fuese necesario contienda de juicio, que lo siga, pareciendo ante las autoridades correspondientes y presentando la documentación, testimonios y los que sean requeridos, por lo que se le da éste con libre y general administración con facultad de sustituir.
