Don Pedro de Garay, del Comercio de España y residente en el pueblo de Jalapa, dijo que don José Gil, ayudante mayor del Regimiento de Dragones de México, le entregó en depósito, 2, 000 pesos sin papel alguno donde conste, pero el mencionado Gil le ha comunicado que el dinero le pertenece a doña María Javiera del Camino, hija de don Francisco del Camino y Velasco, por lo que le ha pedido al otorgante lo declare, quien señala que tiene esa cantidad y se obliga a tenerlos a disposición de entregarlos a quien corresponda.
