Doña María de Estupiñán, viuda, mujer que fue de Juan de la Gala Moreno, difunto, y Don Tomás Palomino Rendón y Doña Juana de Monsalve Galindo, su legítima mujer, vecinos todos de Jalapa, hicieron un trueque de esclavos en manera: Doña María de Estupiñán dio a Don Tomás y a Doña Juana, una esclava mulata nombrada María de la Trinidad, de 16 años de edad, hija de Isabel, negra criolla, difunta, su esclava también; por un negro llamado Ambrosio Niceto, de 20 años de edad, hijo de Agustina María, negra criolla, difunta, que trajo de dote la referida Juana Monsalve. Dichos esclavos fueron valuados hasta en 150 pesos de oro común cada uno.
