El Capitán Gaspar de Olavarrieta, vecino y del comercio de este pueblo de Jalapa, exhibió una escritura hecha en este pueblo en la cual se obliga don Diego de Castro y doña Ana María de Chávez y Peña, difuntos, a pagarle a don José Antonio de Acosta, difunto, vecino que fue de esta misma vecindad, la cantidad de 216 pesos 5 reales; habiendo muerto dichos deudores quedó por heredera doña Petrona Josefa de Castro, y por haber hecho cesión dicho Acosta a don Carlos José de Montes para cobrar dicha deuda, éste le dio poder al otorgante, por lo que declara que ha recibido dicha cantidad y da por cancelada la escritura.
