El Capitán Gonzalo Márquez de Acevedo, vecino de este pueblo de Jalapa, Alguacil de los Tribunales de la Inquisición de este partido, patrono de la capellanía de misas rezadas que mandó a instituir y fundar María de la O Muñoz, de cantidad de 1, 000 pesos sobre el rancho de labor que hoy posee Juan Bravo de Alarcón; usando de dicho patronato y habiendo fallecido Mateo López, quien era el niño primero y llamado al servicio y propiedad de la mencionada capellanía, nombra al Bachiller Miguel Pérez de Medina, cursante en sagrada teología en la Ciudad de los Ángeles, como capellán propietario de dicha capellanía.
