Don Juan de Medina Caraveo, vecino de Jalapa, dijo estar casado con Ana de Mojica, hija legítima de Juan de Mojica y de Tomasa García, difuntos, vecinos que fueron de este pueblo; asimismo, declaró que recibió 200 pesos de oro común, de ciertos bienes que heredó de su mujer; y otros 200 pesos de oro común, los 100 se los mandó Catarina de Mora, madrina de su esposa, vecina que fue del Ingenio Chico; y los otros 100 pesos se los mandó el Lic. Don Juan Fernández de la Higuera, cura del Ingenio La Santísima Trinidad; cuyas cantidades suman 400 pesos y de los cuales otorga recibo como bienes dotales.
