Don Carlos de Escurra de esta vecindad, le presentó a don Juan Manuel de Revilla, del comercio de la Nueva Veracruz, residente en esta villa, una libranza girada en su contra, quien la reconoció y expuso que no la pagaba porque el girador de ella le avisó que le enviaría 5000 pesos, pero no se verificó su curso en el termino regular, por lo que sin tener noticia de los tenedores en Londres, no cumplió con dicho pago, de lo que Escurra, señaló que protestaba los daños y perjuicios contra quien resulte.
