Don Andrés de Anaya Navarrete, vecino de Guichiapa, de oficio herrero, con testamento hecho, en el cual otorga poder para testar, designa albaceas y herederos, de fecha 28 de octubre de 1748, en este pueblo de Jalapa, informa que por vía de codicilio, manda se digan 50 misas por su alma, en la iglesia parroquial de este pueblo, en el altar de Nuestra Señora del Carmen, así como pagar de lo que se gaste en estas misas a don Nicolás de Ibáñez y don Sebastián Barradas.
