Doña Ignacia Josefa Serrano, mujer legítima de don Martín Calvo, vecina de la Nueva Veracruz y residente en este pueblo de Jalapa, dijo que en ausencia de su marido consiguió licencia del Excelentísimo Señor Virrey para otorgar este poder, por lo que lo hace y lo otorga a don Juan López de Herrera, y por su ausencia a don Miguel Rodríguez, vecino de dicha ciudad, para que en su nombre administren las casas que tiene la otorgante en Veracruz cobrando los arrendamientos de ellas y reparándolas de lo que necesiten.
