Don Mateo Badillo, del Comercio de España y residente en la Villa de Xalapa, exhibió una escritura hecha en la Villa de Córdoba el 7 de diciembre de 1791, en la que consta que don Domingo Antonio Castelos, de aquella vecindad, en virtud de poder otorgado por don José Miguel de Iriarte y Lezeta y don Juan Joaquín de Cendoya y Arizabaleta, compañeros y dueños de la hacienda e ingenio de Pacho, otorgó venta de 17 piezas de esclavos a favor de don Juan Bernardo de Segura Ceballos, por un importe total de 1, 428 pesos, y habiendo pagado don Juan Bernardo de Segura Ceballos la mencionada cantidad a don Mateo Badillo, éste da por cancelada la escritura.
