Doña Bernabela Velázquez, viuda del Alférez Don Juan Bautista de Sosa, vecina de Jalapa, dio su poder cumplido a Don Pedro de Tamayo y Vera, vecino de la nueva ciudad de Veracruz, para que en su nombre pueda cancelar la escritura de venta de una negra nombrada Cristina, que a favor de la otorgante hizo Doña María Calderón, mujer legítima de Don José González, que pasó ante Don José de Orduña, escribano público, por haberse deshecho el trato, y para que reciba los 300 pesos de oro común en que se la había vendido.
