Don Vicente de Toledo y Viveros, Alcalde Mayor del pueblo de Jalapa, informa que penden dos causas criminales contra José del Rey, por haber dado 5 heridas a Pedro Nolasco Valdés, causándole la muerte y por lo que se refugió en la inmunidad de la iglesia, de la cual y bajo caución juratoria fue sacado y puesto en prisión; pero por no inferir agravio a dicha inmunidad, dicho Alcalde Mayor otorga poder especial a don Cayetano José Laurido, vecino de la Ciudad de la Puebla, para que declare que el acusado no merece el favor de la inmunidad por que su delito es grave.
