Tomás Miguel de Campo, dueño de recua vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, vende al Capitán Juan Ricardo Grant de Guzmán, Alcalde Mayor de esta jurisdicción, un negro esclavo nombrado Maximiliano Marín que será de 18 años más o menos, el cual hubo por remate en almoneda el 18 de mayo de 1721. El esclavo se encuentra libre de empeño, hipoteca y enajenación, en 300 pesos de oro común que por él le da dado.
