Don Juan de Bárcena, Alcalde Ordinario más antiguo de esta Villa de Xalapa de la Nueva España y de su comercio, otorga poder general en primer lugar a don José Antonio Saavedra y Carvajal y en segundo a don José Antonio de Bárcena, vecinos y del comercio de Cádiz, para que en su nombre cobren judicial o extrajudicialmente todas las cantidades que le deban y para que si en razón de dichas cobranzas se ofreciera contienda de juicio, lo siga, así parezca ante los tribunales y juzgados que convenga.
