Don Lorenzo Benito Álvarez de Guzmán, Teniente del partido de Naolinco, vendió a José de Castro, vecino de La Cañada, un pedazo de solar, ubicado en este pueblo de Jalapa, con 30 varas de frente y 54 varas de fondo que al frente linda con calle que sale para la Nueva Veracruz, al norte con solar de Pedro Candelero, al sur con solar del que vende y al oriente con solar de don José de Alvarado; lo vendió en la cantidad de 150 pesos en el año de 1736 sin ninguna escritura de por medio, misma que entrega en la fecha de esta declaración.
