Don Antonio Mateo Ortiz de Zárate, vecino de Jalapa, albacea testamentario de su difunto hermano el Presbítero Mateo Antonio Ortiz de Zárate, vende a doña Rita Morales, doncella mayor de 25 años, una casa de edificio bajo ubicada en la calle de la Amargura que linda al oriente con casas del difunto don Manuel Rivero, al norte y poniente con casa de Lucía de Zárate; y al sur con casa de don Clemente Couso, dicha venta la hace en la cantidad de 522 pesos y 3 y cuartilla de reales, de los que recibe 262 pesos 3 y cuartilla real y los 260 pesos restantes quedan impuestos a censo redimible sobre dicha casa a favor de la Cofradía de las Animas, como pago de una deuda que tiene el otorgante con dicha cofradía.
