Doña María Guadalupe Barragán, de esta vecindad, de estado doncella, mayor de 25 años, otorga poder especial al Licenciado don Antonio López de Santa Anna, Abogado de la Real Audiencia de México, vecino de la Nueva Veracruz, para que a nombre de ella y de los derechos que le asisten como legataria del remanente del quinto de los bienes que quedaron por fallecimiento de don Cristóbal Barragán, que fue vecino de la misma Ciudad de la Veracruz, se presente en el Juzgado del Señor Alcalde Ordinario de primera elección de dicha ciudad, donde penden los autos de la testamentaría del finado, a producir en él y en cualquier otro competente las pruebas que como tal le corresponden.
