Doña María de Neira Claver, vecina de Jalapa, dijo que por fin y muerte de sus padres, le cupo en herencia una esclava mulata llamada Josefa de Neira, que al presente tendrá 36 años de edad, la cual está casada con José Esterivas; y por el mucho amor que le tiene y los buenos servicios que de ella ha recibido, a petición de su marido, le da la carta de libertad por 150 pesos de oro común, en que se compuso con el dicho José Esterivas.
