Don José Luciano San Martín, residente en este pueblo de Jalapa, otorga poder especial al Bachiller don José Manuel de Alvarado, junto con el Bachiller don Gabriel de Madariaga, Clérigos Presbíteros de la Diócesis de la Ciudad de Comayagua, obispado de Honduras, para que comparezcan ante el Ilustrísimo Señor Obispo, donde supliquen se le concedan divisorias generales, haciendo presente la necesidad que hay respecto a la suma de distancia entre este pueblo y aquel Obispado, ya que el ánimo del otorgante es recibir las Órdenes desde Tonsura, hasta el de Sacerdotal en el Obispado que mejor convenga.
