Parecieron en forma de Cabildo, el Gobernador y Oficiales de la República de naturales del pueblo de San Juan Bautista Jalcomulco que se nombran en este escritura; dijeron que por decreto del Virrey, se les manda nombrar Procurador que agite la pretensión que tienen sobre libertarse de ciertas pensiones y conseguir tierras en donde sembrar; razón por la que otorgan poder a don Juan Sánchez Casahonda, Agente de Negocios en México, para que defienda a dicho pueblo, en la pretensión citada, para lo cual presente escritos, testimonios, y otros que sean necesarios, por lo que se le da poder con libre y general administración con facultad de sustituir.
