Doña María Isabel de Echegaray y don Narciso José de Echegaray, vecinos de esta Villa de Jalapa, con poder para testar que les confirió don Miguel Eustaquio Cardeña, marido de la primera, quien fue Escribano Real y Público Interino de esta villa y su jurisdicción; proceden a otorgar el testamento del mencionado difunto, donde nombró como herederos universales a sus hijos legítimos de su primer matrimonio con doña Nicolasa Gallardo Muñiz de Cámara, y de su segundo matrimonio. Entre sus bienes tenía un trapiche en el paraje da la Isleta, tierra arrendada que vendió a don Juan Manuel Rebolledo. A su segundo matrimonio trajo un trapiche e ingenio nombrado Maxtlatlán grabado con 500 pesos. Entre otros bienes que se enumeran aquí.
