Don Jerónimo Francisco, Gobernador de San Andrés Tlalnehuayocan; don Lorenzo Juan, José Juan, Alcaldes; Antonio de los Santos y José Antonio, Regidores, dijeron mediante Pedro Calderón, intérprete, que en cumplimiento de lo mandado sobre que haya escuela en todos los pueblos, se obligan a dar por 3 años a Miguel de la Torre, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, 80 pesos en cada uno, más doce fanegas de maíz, un huevo por semana cada muchacho y él se compromete a tener la escuela para enseñarles la lengua castellana, la doctrina, a leer y escribir.
