Doña Micaela Venancia Vela, natural del pueblo de Apazapa [Apazapan], vecina de esta Villa, doncella mayor de 45 años e hija de don Vicente Vela y de doña María [de] Peñalosa, ordena su testamento en el que señala por bienes una casita de material cubierta de madera y teja, situada en la calle que nombran de la Acequia que baja de la Plazuela del lavadero de Techacapa. Otro de sus bienes es un ranchito de ganado mayor en tierras que nombran La Peregrina de la jurisdicción de la Antigua; deja a un huérfano nombrado Andrés Antonio de 13 a 14 años de edad. Nombra como albacea a su hermano don Juan Manuel Vela y por su falta a su hijo y sobrino Prudencio [Antonio] Vela, instituye como herederos a sus hermanos don Juan, doña Gertrudis, don Teodoro Vela y su huérfano Andrés Antonio.
