Don Sebastián de la Higuera Matamoros, heredero que trata de tomar posesión del mayorazgo de la Higuera, y su tío Don Bernabé de la Higuera y Amarilla, Comisario del Santo Oficio de la Inquisicón, heredero de 10 000 pesos y 3 000 pesos de renta anual en el citado mayorazgo, se convinieron en esta manera: Don Bernabé hace baja de 1 000 pesos de oro común en cada un año a Don Sebastián por un lapso de cuatro años; asimismo, le hace espera de cuatro años por los 9 000 pesos que le resta debiendo de los 10 000 pesos que le debía de dar al tomar posesión del referido mayorazgo.
