El Bachiller Don Antonio de Acosta, clérigo de menores órdenes, vecino de la ciudad de México, recibió del Capitán Don Sebastián de la Higuera Matamoros, vecino de esta provincia, 500 pesos de oro común, por razón de otros tantos que el Lic. Don Bernabé de la Higuera y Amarilla, del Consejo de su Majestad, Inquisidor Apostólico de Nueva España, escribió al susodicho diera al otorgante, a cuenta de los réditos y rentas que le paga Don Sebastián como mayorazgo del ingenio nombrado La Santísima Trinidad; asimismo, recibió del dicho Capitán otros 500 pesos por mano del Alférez Juan Montero, regidor de la Veracruz, que por todo sumaron 1 000 pesos de oro común.
