Juan de la Gala Moreno, dueño de su recua, vecino de Jalapa, se obligó a pagar al Capitán y Sargento Mayor Juan de Echavarría, vecino de la nueva ciudad de Veracruz, oficial de la Real Hacienda en ella, 370 pesos de oro común en reales, precio de un negro llamado Mateo Guaxaca, de 35 años de edad, por escritura fechada en este pueblo el 10 de enero del presenta año; los cuales dará en su nombre al tesorero Gaspar Estévez, en la nueva ciudad de Veracruz, para fin del presente mes, con las costas de la cobranza.
