Don Anastasio Cruz, de esta vecindad, otorga poder especial a don José Mariano de Almanza, Regidor y Alférez Real de la Ciudad de la Veracruz, de donde es vecino, para que presente ante el señor Gobernador e Intendente de Plaza, en el Superior Gobierno del Excelentísimo Señor Virrey, la información de su legitimidad, limpieza de sangre y de su familia, y en su virtud se les declare exentos de pagar los Reales Tributos por no deberlos satisfacer como hasta la fecha lo han hecho equivocadamente.
