Juan de Oceta, escribano de Jalapa, dio fe y testimonio que el capitán don Sebastián de la Higuera Matamoros, vecino de esta provincia, exhibió una escritura de redención de 51 600 pesos de oro común de censo de los 112 000 que están cargados en el ingenio nombrado Nuestra Señora de la Concepción, en favor de doña Francisca Díaz Matamoros por la mitad del dicho ingenio y en cuyo derecho sucedió el Alférez Andrés de Arano, vecino de la ciudad de Los Ángeles.
