Don Juan Antonio de la Riva, vecino de Jalapa, de una parte y de la otra don Blas Cortés, oriundo de la Nueva Veracruz, hijo legítimo de Pedro Cortés, otorgan poder a su cuñado Pedro Galup, para que en su nombre y representación, cobre judicialmente a los albaceas de sus padres, la herencia paterna y materna que le adeudan a dicho Blas, y la que dicho Blas tiene cedida a su cuñado Galup, como pago de las cuentas que con él ha tenido.
