Declara ser soltero y por consiguiente no tiene hijos. En agradecimiento a su hermana María Joaquina, mujer de don Antonio Guzmán y Grant, por lo servicial que ha sido con él, le hereda una casa baja de madera con el solar cercado de piedras. Como bien suyo señala una esclava nombrada Anna Antonia a la que le ofrece libertad para cuando él fallezca. Nombra albaceas a doña María Teresa de Aravalles y a don Antonio Guzmán y Grant.
