Manuel Paulin, residente en este pueblo, recibió del Capitán Juan Esteban de Iturbide, Caballero de la Orden de Santiago, la cantidad de 21, 000 pesos en un conocimiento otorgado por Juan Francisco de Vertiz, dueño de recua, cuya cantidad se obliga a que la embarcará registrada en capitanía de la flota a cargo del Jefe de Escuadras Rodrigo de Torres y Morales, por cuenta y riesgo del Duque de Terranova, Marqués del Valle de Oaxaca, como producto de las rentas de dicho Valle, y llegados al puerto de Cádiz, los entregará a Juan García Romero o a Nicolás de Berroa.
