Don Sebastián de la Higuera y Matamoros, residente en su ingenio nombrado Nuestra Señora de la Concepción, como heredero y albacea testamentario, y tenedor de los bienes de Don Ramiro de Arellano y Córdova[Córdoba], vecino que fue de la nueva ciudad de Veracruz, dio su poder cumplido a Cristóbal Sánchez Matamoros, su primo, generalmente para en todos sus pleitos, causas civiles y criminales, y para que pueda cobrar cualesquiera de sus bienes muebles y raíces que le fueren debidos en esta Nueva España, especialmente para que en su nombre administre ciertas casas, esclavos, un tejar y otros bienes que dejó Don Ramiro de Arellano en aquella ciudad.
