Don Manuel de Lebrija y Abellán, residente en este pueblo de Jalapa, otorga poder a su hermano don José María Lebrija, para que en su representación, se entregue de la casa de provisión que tiene en la ciudad de Veracruz, tomando cuentas de sus aprovechamientos a don Juan de Lebrija, quien la ha administrado, y si por lo antes mencionado fuese necesario contienda de juicio que siga, pareciendo ante las autoridades correspondientes y presentando la documentación, testimonios y lo que le sea requerido, por lo que se le da éste con libre y general administración con facultad de sustituir.
