El Capitán Don Francisco Hernández de la Higuera, residente en su ingenio nombrado Nuestra Señora de la Concepción, se obligó a pagar a la Santa Iglesia Catedral de Tlaxcala, 545 pesos de oro común; los 525 pesos por el valor de 700 fanegas de maíz del diezmo de la cordillera de Jalapa y sus comunidades, a 6 reales la fanega; y los 20 pesos restantes, del diezmo de las menudencias de la dicha cordillera, todo ello perteneciente al año de 1624; los cuales les dará para el día de Navidad del presente año, juntos en una paga.
