Polonia de Rivas, mulata libre, vecina de Jalapa, dijo que habiendo otorgado su testamento el día 8 del presente mes y año, en él dejó ordenado a sus albaceas diesen carta de libertad a Jerónimo de Irala, negro criollo, de 50 años que junto con su hermano Juan de Irala, los hubo a cambio de otros dos negros bozales que dio al ingenio [hacienda] de Tenampa, por ser hijos de su madre Clara López, y para adelantar este instrumento y no aguardar a que sus albaceas ejecuten dicha libertad, y con la condición de que le ha de ir dando 40 pesos de oro común para sus necesidades, libertó al dicho Gerónimo de Irala, su hermano, negro atezado que tiene su asistencia en el ingenio de los herederos del Regidor Luis Pacho Mejía.
