Don Tomás Morán, natural de la Ciudad de Cádiz, vecino y Corredor del Número de la Nueva Veracruz, y residente en esta Villa, hijo de don Juan Morán y de doña Micaela Sánchez Carrera, otorga su testamento, en donde declara; es casado en segundas nupcias con doña Juana Crivelí, quien llevó de dote 3 000 pesos, que él le consignó de sus bienes, procrearon 3 hijos, por bienes señala una casa alta y baja ubicada en Veracruz, manda que no se haga inventario de las alhajas de oro y plata, cintillos, cubiertos y demás plata labrada, sino que mejor se le entregue a su esposa porque le corresponde de gananciales, nombra por albaceas a dicha su esposa, a su hermano don Francisco Puchi, y a don José Álvarez.
