Don Andrés Pérez de la Higuera y su esposa doña Francisca Díaz Matamoros, vecinos de esta provincia, dieron a censo y tributo redimible a Francisco Hernández y a su mujer Inés Díaz Matamoros, 112 000 pesos de oro común, valor de las tierras, caña, esclavos, ganados, edificios y otros bienes que a doña Francisca le cupieron por herencia del ingenio nombrado Nuestra Señora de la Concepción, que fue de su padre Juan Díaz Matamoros; por los cuales, don Francisco y doña Inés se obligaron a darles 4 000 pesos de oro común de censo anuales, a razón de 28000 al millar, pagaderos por sus tercios corridos la cantidad de 1 333 pesos, 2 tomines y 8 granos.
