El Capitán Don Sebastián de la Higuera Matamoros y Doña Josefa de Arellano e Irala, su legítima mujer, residentes en este ingenio, y estando presente Don Fernando Ruiz de Córdoba y Arellano, hermano de los susodichos, y uno de los herederos de Don Ramiro de Arellano, con licencia de su tutor, juntos de mancomún dieron poder cumplido a Juan Montero, vecino y encomendero en la ciudad de Veracruz, para que cobre de los señores jueces y oficiales reales de la citada ciudad, y del Receptor de Avería de San Juan de Ulúa, los alquileres de las casas de piedra en que estuvo alojada la Compañía del Capitán Don Pedro Puerto Carrero, aprobando los autos y diligencias hechos en esta razón por Cristóbal de Lozana Salazar con los dichos oficiales reales.
