Bartolomé López Amador, mayordomo de la recua de Isabel Muñoz, viuda de Maltrata, manifestó llevar en la recua hacia la Nueva Veracruz, dos indios nombrados Diego y Gaspar. Asimismo, el corregidor le notificó que a los indios debe dársele buen tratamiento y no servirse de ellos contra su voluntad, así mismo, se le informó de la ordenanza que prohíbe a los carreteros, arrieros y chirrioneros bajar con indios a la Nueva Veracruz a partir del 1 de junio hasta 5 de octubre de cada año hasta, so pena de 200 pesos, debido a que en esos meses llueve mucho, provocando que los naturales enfermen, condolezcan y mueran.
