Diego Jiménez de Alosa, dueño de recua, vecino de Oaxaca, manifestó dirigirse con su recua hacia la Nueva Veracruz y llevar en servicio de ella cuatro indios nombrados Martín, Miguel, Juan y Pedro. Asimismo, el corregidor le notificó de la ordenanza que prohíbe bajar con indios a la Nueva Veracruz a partir del 1 de junio de cada año hasta el otro día después de San Francisco; también se le informó que a los indios debe dársele buen tratamiento y no servirse de ellos contra su voluntad.
