Alfonso Lozano, Juanes de Chavarría, Andrés de Zumeta [Loyola], dueños de recua, vecinos de Oaxaca, manifestaron dirigirse hacia la Nueva Veracruz y llevar en servicio de ellos a indios de la manera siguiente: Alfonso Lozano lleva un indio nombrado Francisco; Juanes de Chavarría tres indios nombrados Diego, Lucas y Domingo; y Andrés Zumeta dos indios llamados Luis y Pedro. Asimismo, el corregidor le notificó de la ordenanza que prohíbe bajar con indios a la Nueva Veracruz por ser tiempo prohibido; también se le informó que a los indios debe dársele buen tratamiento y no servirse de ellos contra su voluntad.
