El Capitán Gerónimo [Jerónimo] de Leza y Mancilla, Alcalde Mayor y Capitán a Guerra de este pueblo y su partido, Juez de Caminos y otras comisiones, dijo que esta jurisdicción está muy distante y en ella suceden muchos casos y cosas a las que su merced no puede asistir y para que en ella haya cumplida administración, es necesario nombrar un lugarteniente por lo en virtud de la facultad que tiene por dicho título, nombra a don Juan de Porras, vecino de este pueblo, para que como tal lo use y ejerza, y que los vecinos y habitantes de este pueblo hayan y tenga como tal.
