El Capitán Juan Joseph [José] de León, Alcalde Mayor en este partido, Juez de Caminos y de Registros, Cobranza de Tributos y otras comisiones, nombra como Teniente del pueblo de Maltrata a Alejo Rodríguez, y le da facultad para que lo use y ejerza con vara de justicia para aprehender a los delincuentes, los remita a la cárcel de este pueblo; por tal razón manda a todos los vecinos de dicho pueblo le hayan por tal y acudan a sus llamamientos, le den el auxilio que pidiere tocante al oficio.
