Doña Catalina Lagunes, viuda vecina de la jurisdicción de Jalapa, vende a Ana de Arcos, mujer legítima del Alférez Juan de Morales, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, una negrita esclava nombrada Manuela de 16 años más o menos que heredó por sustitución pupilar de Eugenia e Ildefonsa, en virtud de testamento que otorgó el Licenciado Francisco Lagunes, su hermano en la ciudad de los Ángeles el 16 de mayo de 1710, cuya esclava se encuentra libre de empeño, hipoteca y enajenación, en 280 pesos de oro común, cantidad que se da por entregada.
