Doña Josefa Antonia de Orta, originaria y vecina de la Nueva Veracruz, doncella, hija de don Bernardo de Orta y de doña María Asunción Arroyo, difuntos, otorga su testamento, señalando lo siguiente: manda sea sepultada en la forma y lugar que a su albacea pareciere. Por única vez, lega cuatro reales en plata a cada una de las dos mandas forzosas. Es su voluntad que las alhajas y bienes muebles, lo invierta su albacea en misas a beneficio de su alma. Por sus bienes, señala las alhajas, muebles y demás que tiene conocimiento su albacea. Por no tener herederos forzosos, instituye por su heredero al presbítero don Juan de Dios Orta, su hermano. Revoca cualquier otro testamento, poder para testar u otra última disposición.
