Esteban Santiago, mulato libre del ingenio Grande de esta jurisdicción, declara que en el año de 1713- 1714 su yerno Antonio Muñoz, vendió un solar a Pedro Díaz de la Cueva, vecino de este pueblo, ubicado en el Barrio de Arriba, que linda por al oriente con calle que sube al camino de México, al poniente con solar del pueblo donde vive Tomás el albañil, al sur con solar del pueblo donde vive Juan Oaxaca y Felipe el carnicero, y al norte con el camino que sale para México, casa de Manuel Zarco y de los Pedrotes; el solar se vendió en 15 pesos, al cabo de los años murió Antonio Muñoz, sin haberle hecho escritura de la venta a Pedro Díaz de la Cueva.
