Don Manuel de Goiri, vecino de esta Villa, como Ministro Hermano Mayor de la Venerable Tercera Orden de Nuestro padre San Francisco, dijo que por cuanto el Capitán don Manuel de Olmedo, en nombre de don Manuel Echebeste, fundó en esta Villa una capellanía con el caudal de 3 000 pesos, para que con sus réditos se recen 15 misas anuales, de cuya capellanía es patrón dicha Venerable Tercera Orden, por lo que le corresponde nombrar a los capellanes, como lo hace ahora nombrando a don José María Gil y Camino, con la certificación del Señor Doctor don Juan de Dios Olmedo, Chantre Dignidad de la Santa Iglesia Catedral de la Puebla, quien afirmó que dicho José María Gil es pariente del fundador.
