Don Remigio Fernández vecino de la ciudad de la Nueva Veracruz, otorga poder especial a don José Antonio Fernández, residente en dicha ciudad, para que en su nombre y representación acepte dos acciones de la compañía de seguros que con el fondo de 200 000, repartidos en 40 acciones de a 5000 pesos cada una esta para establecerse en la ciudad de Veracruz, y debe dar principio el día 2 de enero de 1789, bajo la dirección de don Baltazar Ruiz Fernández, y en su falta don Juan Manuel Muñoz, y como tal accionista sea participante tanto en la utilidades como en las perdidas que produjere dicha compañía durante el tiempo de 5 años.
